After reading about the gov’t protection and gov’t censorship with respect to the internet, my opinion is that I think that there should be censorships in schools.  Kids are too young anyways to be accidentically or purposefully going on porn sites and such.  However, I do think that there should not be censorship at the college level.  We are paying for our college and should be able to view whatever we would like…although, I would say that it would be inappropriate to view such material at school.  Students are technically considered adults at the age of 18 and should be able to view whatever they like after high school-so in college.  I feel that students from high school and younger should have filtering on the internet.  In addition, I think that school and public libraries should also be filtered.  If you would like funding, then you have to give up a few things.  In addition, a public library is a public place and if people would like to access the internet, they would need to follow the rules.  Also, if you want to look at porn sites and such, then it should be done in private and not in a public library where there are children and others present which may make them feel uncomfortable.
